Mary began her career after moving to the small town of Oroville, California where she worked hard to create a diverse portfolio of large watercolor paintings. Those paintings became a line of greeting cards and gave way to the beginning of Mary Lake-Thompson Ltd.® With the help of her husband, Richard Thompson, the company has become very successful, offering unique giftware with products such as flour sack towels, aprons, soaps, tote bags and much more.
