Pauline is designed by L'Atelier Perdu for Windham Fabrics. From designer L'Atelier Perdu: "Pauline is the name I decided to give to one of the geese I designed in a cross-stitch sampler. The alphabet print (double border) in Pauline is a great way for one to combine a love of cross-stitching with the quilting world. The color palette in Pauline features dusty blues and antique reds, paired with a beautiful share of mustard." (from the Windham Fabrics website)
Pauline 43417-2 Girl with Geese contains tiny mustard brown flowers all over light dusty blue background with occasional small blue, red and yellow flower bunches, and periodically, an oval medallion containing a goose and the words 'A goose in the cart' (1.25" tall) in red letters or a small flock of black, brown and cream geese or a maid (1.5" tall) in cream apron, tan and antique red dress with white cap over her black hair pulling geese in a blue wagon. Primitive whimsical but with a new feel. A delightful modern take on rural or European provincial history.
100% Cotton 44"/45" Wide. not intended for children's sleepwear, but fantastic for quilts, decor or clothing.
